Brain MRI Perfusion (DSC/DCE/ASL)
This lecture will discuss the latest advancements in MRI perfusion techniques and cutting-edge methodologies, including dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE), dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC), and arterial spin labeling (ASL) perfusion imaging.
Learning Objectives
- Describe brain MRI perfusion techniques and current options available.
- Explore conventional methods such as dynamic susceptibility imaging as well as newer methods using the Toft model for quantitative analysis.
- Discuss new advances in non-contrast perfusion techniques such as arterial spin labeling.
