MRI Parameter Soup
This course will explore MRI safety and diagnostic excellence when scanning active implants. Key topics include MRI parameters and patient safety, key parameters on metal artifact reduction sequences and heating during scans in the presence of metal artifacts.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the utilization of MRI parameters to safely scan active implants & improve image quality.
- Identify MRI Parameters on metal artifact reduction sequences.
- Identify which MRI parameters to select to turn down the heat when scanning active implants & to know which parameters to select to obtain high quality imaging when metal artifact is present.
