Implants in MRI: How to Handle Them
This session will address the impact of implants in the MRI environment. It will cover the basics of MRI and implant labeling. A list of implants will be discussed and how to handle them. Addressing the risk assignment of scanning off-label will be discussed and a checklist of how to handle it will be introduced. Examples of situations will be discussed and ways to address them will be covered.
